Our Goals
Our primary goal at MinistryEquip is to develop a website that is the premiere location for leaders and ministries. There, church leaders will gather in order to become more effective in ministry, find relationships, resources, and products.
Four specific objectives will lead us to our goals.
SHEPHERDING, DISCIPLING, AND MENTORSHIP
First, we plan to do this by discipling less-experienced leaders and volunteers to become well-rounded shepherds in their congregations. We will provide access to our team of pastoral consultants and ministry leaders, ready to shepherd and advise the organization or church.
TOOLS AND RESOURCES
Second, we want to make tools and resources readily available for every leader in our community. We'll provide an ever-increasing library of articles, blogs, videos, and audio files, archived and collected from ministry sources, world-wide.
CONNECTION
Third, MinistryEquip.com will provide social networking, forums, and chat rooms as virtual ways for pastors and leaders to connect with one another. Also, we'll have a regular slate of guest bloggers to provoke thought and discussion among key leaders.
SELF-SUPPORTING
Finally, we have a financial goal to become self-supporting. We are focused on ministry for the sake of ministry, so we will use alternative and creative means to support our staff. We will also realize some benefit by providing advertising to Christian sponsors on our web pages.
Our Vision
MinistryEquip exists to prepare today's spiritual leaders for tomorrow's world. While there are over one million Christian leaders and over 350,000 churches in the United States, a surprisingly low percentage of these churches and leaders are truly healthy. Our vision is to use a peer networking, effective mentoring, and a comprehensive website to turn the tide for many of these leaders and create, with God's help, revitalized works for His cause.
